Bonus tip: Rock the right season and size!
Like we said earlier, rock babies grow super-fast! If you want to be fully prepared, it may be wise to choose a bigger size than your kids’ actual size. Some kids will grow faster or are simply larger than others. Also, do take the season in account– a badass rock t-shirt may be ideal in the summertime, but would be no use in the winter. So please be aware of your due date and shop accordingly. There are plenty of punk hoodies that will keep your baby warm during winter.
Toddlers & Kids Rock Clothes sizes
Ones you move up to a size 2T things get a bit confusing. But do not fret! The difference between a size 2 and a size 2T is that your little one is now more active. Hence why kids rock clothing silhouette needs to accommodate their new mobility skills. In other words, if your baby is potty-trained and starts walking, you have graduated to a size 2T!
What the difference between size 2 and 2T?
The silhouette of a size 2 is much rounder than a size 2T. The roundness is better for a baby who is still crawling, whereas a taller and leaner silhouette will be more comfortable for your toddler. See below our size chart for toddlers.

How to find the right size for your little Rockstar? Would you like to dress your little one as a true Rockstar, Metalhead or Punk? But are you unsure what the real difference between a punk, metal or rock baby clothes are? Stay tuned! Here we’ll explain different alternative baby outfit styles and give you some handy tips to achieve each look. That way, you’ll be able to dress your little one according to the greatest Rock stars, Metalheads, and Punks.
Dressing your kid in punk rock style
Is your little one loud, rebellious and doesn’t like to be told what to do? Then you may have a little true punk on your hands! Now that your little one has the attitude pinned down to a T, it’s time to dress the part. As Punk is all about rebelling against authoritarianism and anti-establishment, you’ll find that the punk baby clothes are unapologetically outspoken. Think off, The Clash, Ramones or Green Day’s look. There are 3 essentials to creating a Punk look for your kid.
- Leather jacket
- Skinny jeans
- Anarchy Band tee
Besides punk baby clothing, you can do a ton of things to enhance that punk-vibe. By styling your kid’s hair into a mohawk, you instantly transform them into an outrageous punker. Don’ forget to add studded accessories, bright vibrant colors and go wild with the safety pins! Add them anywhere on your outfit to really boost that punk vibe. Top it off with some punk band buttons and you'll nail the look. If the colors seem the clash, no worries! If it all looks a bit threatening, you’re on the right track.
Outfits to create a real baby Metalhead look
To achieve that cute little metalhead look for your kid is extremely simple. Wear heavy metal baby clothe (preferably with a wicked design), throw on a simple black jean, and your good to go! The actual fit and size won’t even matter that much. Don’t opt for full-on skinny jeans, though. A real metalhead will tell you, it’s all about comfort. Only by being as comfortable as they are, they can perform crazy air-guitar solos. Besides, being comfortable is really important for kids too!
Wear a heavy metal band tee or hoodie from like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica or Slipknot. Pair it with a black jeans (not full-on skinny jean) Accessorize with skulls, crosses or any accessory with a heavy metal band logo like this cute Motörhead pacifier.
Rocking the Rockstar look for kids
Whether you define Rockstars as thrown together or stylish cool, edginess is a consistent hallmark to achieve a Rockstar look. To really enhance the “whatever I just got out of bed look”, combine a band T-shirt, frayed skinny jeans and an untucked flannel shirt. Top the look off with a pair of rock & roll sunglasses and your youngster will be the flyest kid on the block.
- Wear a band tee from a popular rock band
- Put on frayed skinny jeans
- Grab a flannel shirt (don’t tuck it in)
- Add a pair of sunglasses
Bonus tip
The only unspoken rule of rock ‘n roll is to never ever look like you have put any effort into your look. Treat effort like your mortal enemy. The disheveled look suits perfectly to that true rock star. The best hairdo? No hairdo. If you like to boost the rock ‘n roll vibe even more, just toss and shake your kid’s hair. A free-style hairdo will sure hit the right note. Talk about low-maintenance.
